X- Ray- fibrosis left upper lobe, athermanous aorta, and slight cardiomegaly
| Ask Dr. Mona: What does an x-ray impression of fibrosis left upper lobe; athermanous aorta and slight cardiomegaly mean?
My mother had a chest PA & Lateral X-ray and the results stated linear densities are appreciated in the left upper lobe; the rest of the lung fields are clear; aorta is tortuous and calcified; the heart is slightly enlarged; hemidaphragms and sulci are intact; bony thorax is unremarkable with the above impressions. What does this mean in layman's term? Can somebody help me please? Appreciate clarification on this.
