Well, in Assam, India, we traditionally have a variety of rice called Komal Saul translated to Soft Rice. This rice is soaked in water and can be eaten. It is very popular as most people don't eat cooked rice outside home. They eat this variety of rice.

This rice is not GMO; it has been traditionally hybridized. It remains to be seen how nutritious it is, however.

Also, note that when you vote for someone you are voting against some other one, i.e. when you vote for some one, according to you, you are trying to make a choice for others. Do we call this process "Wrong"? I'm certain that it's not called "Wrong" in my community. What about yours? LOL.

LOL. Too much credit, buddy: inventing controversy. LOL. The goal of Corp like Monsanto is to make every food GMO & they own the patent for all of them. I'm fighting against this. You do what ever you want. It seems that you & I aren't on the same team. I say so be it. You like GMO!! Keep it up, buddy.

No you shouldn't choose it for me, but by inventing controversy about things to get them banned, you do end up choosing for other people, and thats not okay.

@DSBrekus (cont) ii) The point is this you don't know whether it's good or bad. Probably I don't, either. Doctors used to say smoking (cigs) wasn't bad. You see it's difficult to do a (RDBSS) randomized double blind statistical study on certain things as smoking, or GMO, etc. The thing about GMO is you can do RDBSS; it just takes very long time to get the results, & funny thing about RDBSS on GMO is that it's on going right now on us without consent. So welcome to the lab, buddy. Enjoy the chow.

@DSBrekus Two things: i) I don't have to convince you. Like I said to some other dude, you choose what you eat. I don't choose it for you.
