I had recently Stent procedure and now I am asking you, if its safe to fly on a trip to Asia from
Toronto.

My dad a heart attack a year ago and he got this. I kew it had sometthing to do with metal and now i know. But it hurts to watch.

Now it depends on what you call heavy fitness, sports, and exercises. Generally a reasonable fitness routine shouldn't dislodge a stent, but here again it depends of what you call heavy. Best thing to do is to ask your cardiologist.

As ALWAYS, check with your doctor or health care professional. However, from my strictly personal experience, I have two stents implanted and engage in moderately strenous aerobics on a regular basis.
