..."Dear all, does anyone know if heavy fitness, sports and exersices can harm the stent"... Now it depends on what you call heavy fitness, sports, and exercises. Generally a reasonable fitness routine shouldn't dislodge a stent, but here again it depends of what you call heavy. Best thing to do is to ask your cardiologist.

As ALWAYS, check with your doctor or health care professional. However, from my strictly personal experience, I have two stents implanted and engage in moderately strenous aerobics on a regular basis. Rob jnjhealth
